"Our country is in morning, a veteran died today" Au CIUSSS MCQ-CHAUR de Trois-Rivières, le 7 février 2016, est décédé à l’âge de 94 ans, M. David Wilson Stuart. David was born on March 26, 1921 in Three Rivers, QC to late parents John and Jeanie (Wilson) Stuart and was predeceased by his beloved wife of 70 years Patricia Narramore (2014) and son Richard (2014).

He is loved and missed by his son Gordon (Renée Gaucher), daughter Valerie (Charles Cunningham), son James (Linda Vaickus), daughter in law Pauline Carle Stuart (Richard), grandfather to Terry (Christine Richard), Sonia (Gaétan Gagnon), Maria (Samuel Pelletier), Charles (Stéphanie Bolduc), Colin, Jeffrey, Kaitlin and great grandfather to Françis, Xavier, Patricia, Léa, Maélie, Zachary, Rachel and many nieces, nephews and friends across Canada and cousins Valerie Ryan and family, the Williams family and Ann Keller all of Dublin, Ireland.

David enlisted in the RCAF on July 3, 1941 and shipped overseas as wireless air gunner and promoted to Sergeant where he served on two Squadrons 415 and 407, Coastal Command. He was commissioned Pilot Officer on August 10, 1944 and released from active duty on September 19, 1945. David worked at Wayagamack Paper Mill for 44 years.
